Whew...

I do not like green eggs and ham, I do not like them Sam I am.


So, after having been through three miscarriages, every little thing FREAKS ME OUT!  I had what I thought were some very concerning cramps and spotting (I use the term "spotting" loosely...it was a gush) yesterday.  I panicked, left work, called the doctor, and begged for something that could help reassure me that things are ok.  When I talked to the nurse she said the only thing to really do at this point is wait and see...and do another blood test to see if my levels were still increasing.  So I took her up on the offer.  Today, the spotting is gone, the cramps are gone, and my numbers were almost 16,000 yesterday!  From a scientific standpoint, things still look really good.  The doctor is looking forward to our ultrasound on Thursday and said we should be able to see a heartbeat by that time.  (Actually, his words were "heartbeats and all that good stuff.")  :)  What a blessing.  I just keep praying that this will continue to go well...we want this baby (or babies) so bad!
