Change of Plans...

Thank you nurses at the local clinic for not giving me the correct information the last time we talked.  Maybe she wasn't paying attention to me, but I told her that long distance clinic was going to fax two orders in...one for lab work and ultrasound on 2/16 (day 2) and one for 2/26 (day 12).  We scheduled the lab and ultrasound for 2/16 with no issues.  This week, I called to confirm that the other order was received and to make my appointment for 2/26 (Saturday).  As it turns out, local clinic does not do ultrasounds on Saturday or Sunday.  What?  The last person I spoke with said it would be no problem...what should I do?  Nurse advises me to call long distance clinic and see what my doctor would like me to do.  I will now be having ultrasound and lab on Friday (2/25) at the local clinic and will find out more after that.  I also learned an important lesson...any ultrasounds I need on the weekend will have to be done in the cities....that is a L O N G drive for a short appointment...


So...more "news" after tomorrow.
