The Raw Deal...

So, it's rough to be disappointed like this.  And yes, I am human.  Of all the places to cry, I picked the best of them all...in front of a male coworker/friend.  WTF?  Why not the female friends?  Seriously...thank you for listening and for the extreme compassion you showed when I broke.  I think I kept myself pretty composed...and am truthfully sorry if I made it an uncomfortable moment.  I sincerely appreciate your genuine concern.  You listen and acknowledge like many don't.


Someone said something that intrigued me this week.  When I made a comment that let on that it wasn't a good day (or a perfect week) this person said that it was nice to see that "Mrs. Positive" really is human.  Yep, there it is folks, I am human.  Things get me down.  I cry.  (In public...in front of male coworkers!)  WTF again...seriously...lol.


So, I am heading to Minneapolis in the morning for a baseline appointment.  I am thankful for SO many things:  My friend and coworker that makes this whole journey possible during new hire training, the support of all that are following the blog and sharing their kind words, and the man of my dreams for standing by me with all the love in the world while we partake in this journey.
